Walk with us in the word as Bishop Anthony L Jinwright shares 5 Keys to Unlock Your Next!

Micah 7:8-10 (NIV)

8 Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light.

Because I have sinned against him, I will bear the LORD’s wrath, until he pleads my case and upholds my cause. He will bring me out into the light; I will see his righteousness.

10 Then my enemy will see it and will be covered with shame, she who said to me, “Where is the LORD your God?” My eyes will see her downfall; even now she will be trampled underfoot like mire in the streets.

In the text, the prophet Micah laments over the moral decay of his time, his personal faith in God, and God's promise of forgiveness and restoration. Despite his despair, Micah shows unwavering faith in God and trusts that God will hear him. Micah pleads with God to restore the fortunes of his people and recalls God's past miracles. He proclaims that God will forgive iniquity, pass over transgressions, and cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

5 Keys to Unlock Your Next

  1. We must trust in God's sovereignty.

    - believe that God is in control

    - every setback is just a setup for a greater comeback

  2. We must consistently walk in faith.

    - faith says "I believe God."

    - faith causes us to declare our confidence in God's ability to restore and elevate

Hebrews 11:1 (KJV) states Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

  3. We must repent and realign.

    - if the fall was due to sin, we must return to God with a repented heart

Romans 3:23 (KJV) states For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God

Hebrews 12:6-7 (KJV) states For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth 7. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

  4. We must hold on to hope.

    - even in the darkness, we must cling to the promises of God

    - God's plan for restoration is never derailed by calamity or misfortune

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) states "For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future"

  5. We must celebrate God's victory.

    - you don't have to wait until you see your next manifest, you can celebrate now

    - what He started, He will complete

Philippians 1:6 (NIV) states Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ

"The enemy does not want you to know your spiritual worth. With God as our light and strength we can rise! For your setback is not the end.
Get ready to step into the victories He has prepared for us."
